2021 BMW M3 CS Spy Shots: There is 460 Horsepower Under The Carbon Hood

BMW M fans have been patiently waiting for the new M3 and M4 to arrive, but the wait is nearly over. BMW has confirmed the new M3 and M4 will finally break cover this September, marking the start of a new generation for the iconic performance sedan and coupe. After we were given a better look at the new BMW M4 last week, our spies have caught the 2021 BMW M3 being tested on city streets as development reaches the final stages.

Do you like monsters? We love monsters, especially this kind of beast. The 2021 BMW M3 CS is a German carmaker who has pulled out of the cage and released the beast called the 2021 BMW M3 CS. The prototype of the high-performance sedan host some amazing features and quite amazing styling, but the performance is what sets apart the model from its base sibling.

The manufacturer will offer a tweaked version of the twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six. The mighty mill pumps out 460 hp and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm), which will be good for a 0-60 sprint below 4 seconds. The power will motivate just the rear wheels of course, which will happen through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. BMW will limit M3 CS’s top speed to 174 mph.

The awesome sedan will not rely on the mere power of course. It’s going to host some aerodynamic tweaks, as well as a special suspension system. Plus, there will be at least 70 pounds less, which is caused by the CFRP diet. Okay, this is not confirmed, but since the two-door model lost weight, why should not the four-door?

Speaking of the CFRP, it added a new front splitter to the front bumper. The hood is also covered up with some camouflage, but we don’t see anything new there. What we see are coupe’s outstanding Orbit Grey-finished wheels. More precisely, the front axle hosts 19-inch, while in the rear the sedan gets 20-inch wheels. Yes, for the hood, it’s going to be carbon fiber, while the design stays untouched.
