2019 LEXUS LS F SEDAN SPIED WITH A TWIN-TURBO V8 ENGINE

Lexus is doing some serious business with its high-end models. After they introduced the all-new and really amazing LC, they are working on the redesigned 2019 Lexus LS F. The guys from Autoevolution managed to catch a testing prototype, which is reportedly using the same platform as the LC, and what’s more important, a new twin-turbo V8 engine.

As you can see here, the testing prototype is spied without any camouflage, so it’s hard to believe that the changes are actually happening. However, the photographers are sure that the roaring of the engine isn’t familiar at all. According to information we have, the Japanese carmaker actually works on its new twin-turbo with displacement between 4 and 4.4 liters, which will be capable to deliver at least 600 horsepower. Even though it sounds like science fiction, the gorgeous sedan could get the mill, and here is why:

Although the prototype of the 2019 Lexus LS F appears to be almost identical to the current LS 500 F Sport, it’s not exactly the same. If you look closer, the testing model sports a trunk lid spoiler in the back, which will have a positive influence on car’s stability. Plus, there are no visible exhaust tips in the rear, while the front end features a bit different grille with cutouts, which is one more, clear sign that the high-sedan got a bigger engine under the hood.
