The refreshed 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been scheduled for the next year, but we have seen a testing prototype that reveals most of the exterior styling. Still, don’t get excited too much because there will be no too many design changes at all. No, the update appears to be focused mostly on technology.
Outside and Inside
The new exterior won’t stay completely without changes. Instead, the refreshed vehicle is getting a pair of new headlights in the front and a tweaked front bumper. It’s pretty much the same story around back. The testing vehicle covers up the taillights, which is the reason to believe that this will be the only change in the rear. In any case, both headlights and taillights will likely resemble the E-Class’ units.
The cabin is a place to search most of the changes planned from the 2019 C-Class. The awesome car will host a totally new infotainment with a new touchpad controller in the center console, which replaces today’s rotary dial. Mercedes will almost definitely add a digital instrument cluster, yet we would not be surprised if they leave an analog option as well.
Under The Hood
Mercedes will add a few new options under the hood without any doubt. They will not skip the chance to introduce new inline six and four-cylinder. Plus, most of the available units will use new efficiency improvements such as a single electric motor, which replaces starter motor and alternator. The topping 2019 Mercedes C63 will feature the current 4.0-liter biturbo V8. Though the carmaker might add even more steroids to the engine, so it might produce even more power in the future.
