2019 Nissan Titan Nismo Announced: It Might Have 545 Hp Powerful Engine

Ford’s amazing Raptor won’t be the only high-performance pickup truck because Ram work’s on its Hellcat-powered Rebel model. However, these two might get one more worthy rival that’s coming from Nissan’s backyard. According to Nismo boss Takao Katagiri, they are currently reconsidering to build a truck that will largely resemble the Warrior concept. Now, they haven’t said how it might be named the high-end pickup truck or when it will be available, but the latest reports suggest it should be called the 2019 Nissan Titian Nismo and will arrive sometime next year.

A twin-turbo 3.8-liter V-6 engine under the hood

According to Suvsandtrucks.com, the performance-oriented pickup truck from Nissan will get an impressive mill under the hood. Unlike the Warrior concept that was paired with a 5.0-liter Cummins turbodiesel engine, the Nismo truck will reportedly use a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V-6 engine. Read More

This mill is significantly more powerful than the Raptor’s 3.5-liter twin-turbo, which delivers up to 450 horsepower. Unofficially, the 2019 Nissan Titian Nismo will get a whopping 545 horsepower. Of course, the engine will be mated to the all-wheel drive and seven-speed manual transmission.

Warrior’s face

The upcoming track will be as charming as any other Nismo model, but the car manufacturer promised quite a good off-road kit as well. We have nothing closer to it at the moment, yet aside from the special off-road suspension, the truck should also shed some weight by using carbon fiber body panels. As for the styling, the 2019 Titian Nismo should keep Warrior’s design cues, yet we expect to see some details typical for Nismo.
