2019 Audi A6 Avant Spotted Outside

We’ve got a set of fresh spy shots right now. The car spotted here is the totally redesigned 2019 Audi A6 Avant, which should arrive together with the new-gen A6 later this year. The awesome wagon will receive a number of important changes, which will make it better from the predecessors (and all crossovers of a similar footprint).

The 2019 Audi A6 exterior redesign might be the first thing that everyone notices though it’s not the most crucial detail for sure. The new-gen A6 Avant will also ride on a new architecture, which will make it significantly lighter. The MLB proved to be amazing thanks to more aluminum and the ability to host a number of engine options. In addition, the bodywork is also larger, which will help the car to offer more space (significantly more than any crossover).

The new design isn’t too different from the current. Moreover, we are pretty sure that the manufacturer has no intention to touch anything on the profile. Instead, they will focus on ends that are likely all-new. The nose is sharper thanks to the new bumper. Still, the biggest part of the front end covers the new grille, which appears to be pretty much the same for the majority of new Audi cars. Both headlights and taillights are more aggressive than earlier, while the rear bumper sports two exhaust pipes. Though don’t count to get both tips with the starting option. No, the base model will sue just one, while the other should be fake.

Performance-wise, the 2019 Audi A6 interior Avant will get several options for North America. The base model will use a 3.0-liter turbo for sure. The V6 unit should deliver 340 horsepower. Audi won’t forget to add a plug-in hybrid powertrain, which will sue the same V6 and a single motor. Plus, the potential buyers will be able to buy the 2019 S6 Avant with a 2.9-liter twin-turbo. The amazing engine pumps out around 450 horsepower, which makes the wagon pretty potent. Still, the S6 model will be nothing compared to the rumored RS 6 version. This Avant will have a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 600 horsepower. As for the rest of the known world, well, they will get a few diesel options. Moreover, the carmaker will add some plug-in hybrids which rely on oil-chugging technology.

The 2019 Audi A6 Avant will appear late this year, most likely at the 2018 Frankfurt Motor Show. Read More
