2020 Karma Revero Spied Refreshed

The 2020 Karma Revero prototype has been spotted testing a few hours ago. The sports car appears to feature updated front and rear ends, but our trusted source claims that the carmaker from China plans to boost the existing powertrain. Aside from it’s going to be sold in North America, the refreshed sedan will expand its market to Asia and Europe. Still, regardless of the fact, the production will stay in Moreno Valley, California.

Today’s Revero looks really awesome, so we can’t wait to see what’s cooking for the refreshed version. As far as we can tell, the front end will host the biggest changes. More precisely, there seems to be a more pronounced front bumper beneath the camo, as well as a redesigned grille. The 2020 Karma Revero will probably feature a pair of new headlights too. It’s about the same story around back. The visual updates will happen inside as well. Today’s interior isn’t good enough to compete with the biggest rival, so the carmaker has to do a far better job inside. The current cheap materials will be replaced with higher-quality, softer materials, while the car should host a totally redesigned dashboard and all-new infotainment display.

As you may see, the refreshed sedan will keep its solar panels unchanged. However, the powertrain itself will likely host a number of changes. The carmaker hasn’t provided any precise information about the upcoming Karma Revero drivetrain, but the EV range should be slightly raised. Still, the gorgeous sedan will definitely use an existing system that combines a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and twin electric motor setup, which produces up to 403 horsepower. We think, however, that the car’s 21.4-kilowatt-hour battery could either grow, or the solar technology may somehow recharge the battery faster than today. Anyway, the 2020 Karma Revero will definitely deliver better performance and at least 50 miles of EV driving range.
