2018 Rezvani Tank is Suv with 500 HP and Armored Body

Even though most of the carmakers are building crossovers, one totally new automaker 2018 Rezvani from California is working on a true, thirsty body-on-frame SUV, which will definitely have some loyal customers. What’s the catch? Well, aside it’s going to use body-on-frame chassis, the off-road vehicle will also offer some military-based features, which might be quite useful in certain situations.

Kevlar Suit and B6 Glass

According to our information, the automaker decided to name its all-new SUV the 2018 Rezvani Tank, and we can tell you that it deserves its name. It’s not the exterior design that resembles the real tank, but the aforementioned military features. The upcoming SUV will sport a night-vision camera and what’s far more important bullet-resistant body. The armor suit includes B6 glass, Kevlar body panels, and a Kevlar fuel tank. Not bad at all! Aside it rides on the body-on-frame platform, the 2018 Rezvani Tank SUV will get a special suspension system, for which we have no further information. There are also all-terrain tires of course.

Three Engine Options

Performance-wise, the 2018 Tank SUV will reportedly get three options under the hood. The carmaker left out the most potent, because it won’t be available right away, but sometime during 2018. As for the other two, the base model will use a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Even though it’s pretty impressive, the V6 is nothing compared to the more potent 6.4-liter V8. The mill develops 500 horsepower, which is backed up with 430 lb-ft of torque. Rezvani hasn’t released any information regarding the transmission, but we know it’s going to power on-demand four-wheel drive.

You Can Make a Reservation Already

The 2018 Rezvani Tank SUV will become available in a few months. The producer from California hasn’t released any pricing information yet. However, potential buyers can place a $1,000 deposit to make a reservation.
