Qx80 Monograph Suv Concept Teased Ahead Of 2017 New York Auto Show

Infiniti’s next-generation QX50 crossover is almost ready for its official debut. Moreover, we are pretty sure it will be introduced before the end of this year. However, this won’t be the only new high-riding vehicle from Nissan’s luxury division. No, because the car manufacturer also works on the completely redesigned 2019 Infiniti QX80. The flagship SUV won’t arrive before 2018, but the concept version will. According to the official report, the QX80 Monograph SUV concept will be unveiled on April 11 at the 2017 New York auto show, and the picture you are looking at is actually the first teaser.

The single-shot can’t tell us everything about the upcoming QX80 Monograph SUV, yet it reveals what’s cooking. Judging by what we see, the next-generation QX80 will be more handsome from the predecessor without any doubt. The front fascia is receiving a rugged look with more muscles on the hood, as well as a lot more impressive mesh grille. The carmaker hasn’t missed the chance to add a pair of totally new and aggressive LED headlights, and a new front bumper with big intakes. The SUV appears to sport pronounced fenders, while the roof features sloping design.

The carmaker didn’t release any performance details until now, but we are sure that the 2019 Infiniti QX80 is getting new or even several new options under the hood. The current and awesome 5.6-liter V8 mill will be switched with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that will be able to deliver up to 400 horsepower. As for the QX80 Monograph SUV concept, well, we think that the carmaker might come up with some kind of hybrid powertrain, which may also be one of the production options.
