The F-Pace appears to be a jackpot for Jaguar. The amazing SUV is carmaker’s fastest-selling model at the moment, so it’s no wonder at all why they are currently working on the SVR version. The prototype of the high-end version has been spotted recently, which means that there is a production-ready 2018 Jaguar F-Pace SVR around the corner. Now, the testing vehicle is still completely camouflaged, but we know what’s cooking under the psychedelic suit.
Basically, the exterior of the 2018 F-Pace SVR won’t differ too much from the regular model. The future styling will be “better” just for a couple of new details. For instance, the crossover will get a redesigned quad exhaust pipe design in the rear and significantly larger air intakes in the front. These new “holes” will enable greater airflow that will cool down the mighty engine. The SUV will probably pack a little bit larger wheels with bigger brakes and likely upgraded and stiffer suspension system. We were not able to check out what’s new inside, yet we are pretty sure that the carmaker prepares some special details, such as sports seats, SVR badges, and more upscale materials all around.
Under the hood, the 2018 Jaguar F-Pace SVR will definitely get an amazing 5.0-liter V8 engine. The powerful mill is capable of reaching a whopping output of around 550 horsepower, but the car manufacturer will probably cut down about 50 ponies. This means that the topper should feature up to 500 horsepower, which is a lot more from today’s F-Pace model that currently delivers 380 hp from the supercharged V6. The V8 mill mates to the ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
